Product Introduction

Chopped strand mats are made of chopped strands of 50mmin length,which are randomly dispersed and bonded together with polyester binder in powder or emulsion form.The mats are compatible with unsaturated polyester,vinyl Ester and other various resins.

They are mainly used in hand lay-up, filament winding and compression molding processes. The typical FRP products are panels,tanks, boats,pipes etc.

Product Application

Chopped strand mat is mainly used in different fiberglass forming winding processes, including hand lay-up molding, molding, centrifugal casting molding, mechanical molding, etc. It can be widely applied in the production of automobile accessories, sanitary ware, chemical anti-corrosion pipelines, cooling towers, storage tanks, boats and ships, building components, furniture, and other FRP products.

Product Storage

It is recommended that chopped strand mat be stored in a dry, cool, moisture-proof, and rain-proof room at a temperature of 15-35°C and humidity of 35-65%. If you are not going to use it, please do not open the package or tighten the package after use to protect it from dampness.
